The faith which justifies us before God includes both assent and trust. We believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that He died for our sins and rose again. We believe His promise to forgive our sins and give us the gift of the Holy Spirit in Christian baptism. Therefore, we put our trust in Him, committing our life to Him as Lord.d Jack Cottrell
