In so many ways, this is the "most wonderful time of the year." Families come together. We show our generosity to our brothers and sisters. We focus ourselves on the true meaning of Christmas.

Yet, in so many ways, this can be the "least wonderful time of the year." Families come togehter. We have to fight through mall traffic and crowds to find just the right gift. We miss the point of Christmas in the hustle.

Our student ministry will not be meeting during the next couple weeks. We're doing this with the explicit goal of giving parents, families, and students more to connect with each other and enjoy the time together during this wonderful, crazy time of year.

So, enjoy some nights at home, and try to focus on the real reasons for the season. Put out of your mind the busy-ness, and the stress.

Focus on Jesus.
