The Comparison Trap

We have all struggled with it, we look at a friends post who is traveling on vacation, out to dinner at a great restaurant, or posting their cute child. Then we look at our life, and we get this sense of dissatisfaction with our life. And we learn, when comparison begins, contentment ends. Paul shared this nugget, “I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation.” Is that really possible to look at our life and say, I am at peace? I don’t need another vacation, iPhone, or newer car to be content? Can we really move away from comparison and learn to be content with just Jesus? We are going to spend the new few weeks moving from comparison to contentment and peace.
