February 22 @ 9:00 a.m.
International Disaster Emergency Service has been working to ease suffering all around the world for over 40 years. They help with disaster relief here in the US when hurricanes, tornadoes, flooding, and wildfires occur. Around the globe they are responsible for disaster and hunger relief, community development such as wells, and help in providing medical care. All of these assistance programs focus on evangelism and are administered through local churches and missionaries.
Since 2015, Wildwood Christian Church has sent teams to Noblesville, IN headquarters to help with various projects such as building shed components for domestic disaster victims and the hunger relief initiative. GAP (God Always Provides) is the food packing we have done. This year IDES is coming to WCC for the food pack. We will assemble over 24,000 meals beginning at 9:00 a.m., February 22in the auditorium. In order to accomplish this we will need 70-100 volunteers. Bring your family - school age on up can participate! Younger kids will n eed at least one parent helping with them. There will be no cost to join us but food supplies to assemble these packages will cost $6,000. Special offerings will be taken on two Sundays January 26 and February 2 - You can contribute now by donating online!
