WCC Services Have Moved to Online Only
Due to the current situation in our area from the COVID-19 virus and in compliance with the request of the local and federal government, the elders of WCC have chosen to forgo our Sunday worship gatherings for the foreseeable future as we do our part to curb the spread of this virus. Starting this Sunday, March 22, 2020, we will have our worship gathering online. We ask you to stay home and join us online at either 9:00 am or 10:35 am through our online service platform.

Thank you for your understanding in this challenging situation. We will continue to share more as the week progresses, but we wanted to inform our church family of this decision. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to myself or any of the elders. Please be in prayer for our church, community, state, country and the world. The power of prayer is great, and we thank God that He is in control.
As a church family, our first priority is to ensure we are honoring Jesus as we respond in faith as opposed to reacting out of fear. It can be easy to react out of fear as we see the worldwide numbers of people infected and dying from the Covid-19 virus. We know that no matter what is happening in our world, God is Sovereign and in control. We can trust in His work no matter what. As Paul told Timothy, “for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.” 2 Timothy 1:7.
As a church family, we also have the priority to care for the needs of our church family. If you have any physical needs, please don’t hesitate to reach out to any of us. Let me also encourage you to consider the needs of your neighborhood, especially to those who are elderly. This is a great opportunity for the church to be a light in the midst of the fear.
