Although WCC supports missionaries all over the world, we don't forget those near us.  Inner City Christian Church was established to reach those in the northen parts of St. Louis with the hope of Jesus Christ.  The missionaries serving and living there are Roger & Beth.  Their godly presence in the community has made an impact in curtailing the open drug trade.  Beth, a certified Masters Degreed teacher, oversees daily tutuoring for the children of the neighborhood.  They also serve on the Block Unit, provide for the needy with food and clothing for the St. Louis area Food Bank.  A children's program is held on Wednesdays, a prayer meeting on Thursdays, and a teen session each Friday.  Worship services are held each Sunday with Roger preaching.  Jesus said in Acts 1:8b "and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem and in Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."  Roger & Beth are witnessing to "our Jerusalem."
